Cutting his teeth at True Adventure, Are and fellow Norwegians traversed the NWP as young, inspired explorers. Put the clock forward 35 years and Are is still out there, offering his skills, wisdom and superb judgement, leading wisely and naturally to remote locations. Are is one of the most experienced polar guides in the world at this time, having clocked more South Pole expeditions and Greenland crossings than most any other polar guide!
Denise Martin
Adventure and extreme challenges are in Denise’s DNA. Years of cold weather guiding in Northern Canada, the Arctic and Antarctica, Denise is one of the original Polar guides. Proudly wearing the badge of First Canadian woman to ski to the North and South Pole, helping people realise their dreams remains the fundamental reason Denise loves this job.
